Soccer Game Preview: West Limestone vs. Mae Jemison

West Limestone is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Mae Jemison an eight-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Thursday. The West Limestone Wildcats will welcome the Mae Jemison Jaguars at 5:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for West Limestone's offense. They lost 8-0 to St. John Paul II on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, West Limestone can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while St. John Paul II are ranked 17th).

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Mae Jemison took on Ardmore on Tuesday. The Jaguars came up short against the Tigers, falling 6-0.

West Limestone's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Mae Jemison, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-19.
