Colonial came into this matchup off a tough ten-run loss on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of the Boone Braves by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Grenadiers in their meetings with the Braves: they've now lost seven in a row.

Colonial's record is now 8-14. As for Boone, their victory bumped their record up to 9-10.
