Lakeway Christian Academy entered their tilt with Grace Christian Academy on Thursday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Rams. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

While Lakeway Christian Academy won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-23.

Darby Felts paced Lakeway Christian Academy's offense, picking up 34 kills. Felts got some help from Addison Addair and her 31 assists. Addair was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lakeway Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Grace Christian Academy, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-2.

Coming up, Lakeway Christian Academy is taking a road trip to square off against Providence Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grace Christian Academy, they will host Gibbs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
