Basketball Game Preview: Eastern Eagles vs. Southeastern Panthers

The Eastern Eagles and the Southeastern Panthers will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Eastern made easy work of Symmes Valley and carried off a 63-41 win. The Eagles have beaten the Vikings the last four times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Vikings has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Southeastern took on Paint Valley on Friday. The Panthers came out on top against the Bearcats by a score of 52-41.

Eastern's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Southeastern, their win bumped their record up to 7-13.

Eastern didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Southeastern when the teams last played back in February of 2025, but they still walked away with a 60-54 victory.
