Football Recap: Carrick Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Carrick lost against Albert Gallatin back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Raiders lost 54-30 to the Colonials.

Despite the loss, Carrick still got an impressive performance from Kejuan Johnson, who picked up 95 receiving yards and two TDs. Johnson got the majority of those receiving yards when he pulled down a pass and took off for a gain of 55 yards.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Albert Gallatin to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tee Guesman, who rushed for 83 yards and three scores on only 11 carries. Guesman has been hot recently, having posted two or more rushing touchdowns the last three times he's played. Albert Gallatin also got a significant boost from Bronx Jamison, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 91 yards.

Carrick's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Albert Gallatin, the victory (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Carrick didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 56-12 loss against USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy] on the 5th. As for Albert Gallatin, they have also already played their next contest, a 28-14 win against Connellsville on the 5th.
