Northwest hasn't had much luck against Wheelersburg recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mohawks will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Northwest's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 6-0 margin over Portsmouth West. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Northwest considering their one-goal performance the match before.

Meanwhile, Wheelersburg put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their undefeated season alive. Everything went their way against Lynchburg-Clay as they made off with a 6-0 victory. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Wheelersburg's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 49th, while Lynchburg-Clay are ranked 172nd).

Northwest's win bumped their record up to 6-4-1. As for Wheelersburg, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0-2.
