Football Game Preview: Putnam Kingsmen vs. Parkrose Broncos + How To Watch

The Putnam Kingsmen will square off against the Parkrose Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Putnam will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last.

Putnam is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against David Douglas on Friday, falling 45-21.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Parkrose, who bounced back after a loss on the road two weeks ago. They walked away with a 43-35 victory over La Salle on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Broncos needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Parkrose's win came from a few key players Putnam will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Tranden Stricker, who rushed for 113 yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also threw for 239 yards and two TDs. Si'Yel Bell was another key player, rushing for 167 yards on only seven carries.

Parkrose was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 367 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Parkrose now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Putnam, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

Putnam was taken down by Parkrose 47-0 in their previous matchup back in September of 2023. Thankfully for the Kingsmen, Kenji Johnson (who threw for 122 yards and three touchdowns on only six passes, and also rushed for 66 yards and one score) won't be suiting up this time.
