The Autaugaville Eagles will venture away from home to face off against the Autauga Academy Generals at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Autaugaville was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Central on Thursday. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 27-14 margin over the Lions. The win was some much needed relief for the Eagles as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Autauga Academy entered their tilt with Billingsley last Thursday with 12 consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with 13. They blew past the Bears 11-1. 11 seems to be a good number for the Generals as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Madison Johnson was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 1 stolen bases per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Teonna Davis, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one run and one RBI.

Autauga Academy pushed their record up to 18-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Autaugaville, their win bumped their record up to 12-7.
