Softball Game Preview: Brush Arcs vs. Geneva Eagles

The Brush Arcs will venture away from home to take on the Geneva Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Brush has given up an average of 13.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Brush is headed into the matchup having just suffered their biggest defeat since April 4th on Monday. They came up short against Lakeside, falling 21-2. The Arcs have struggled against the Dragons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Meanwhile, Geneva was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-0 to Edgewood.

Caidyn Siegel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on one hit and racked up seven Ks.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Brush, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.
