Football Recap: Jordan-Matthews Comes Up Short

Jordan-Matthews lost against Southwestern Randolph back in August of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jets were dealt a 48-18 loss at the hands of the Cougars. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan-Matthews' defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Southwestern Randolph, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Jordan-Matthews will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Eastern Randolph at 7:30 p.m. on the 30th. As for Southwestern Randolph, they will face off against Northwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
