Softball Recap: West Ouachita Comes Up Short

If West Ouachita was feeling good fresh off their 10-0 takedown of Grant last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. West Ouachita fell just short of the Tioga Indians by a score of 7-6 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Indians this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-6 last Tuesday.

West Ouachita's defeat dropped their record down to 12-12. As for Tioga, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season.

West Ouachita has already played their next contest, a 12-5 win against Oak Grove on the 29th. Tioga has also already played their next game (against Natchitoches Central), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
