Basketball Game Preview: Plano Reapers vs. Marengo Indians + How To Watch

The Plano Reapers will challenge the Marengo Indians at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Plano fought the good fight in their overtime game against Serena on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 40-36 to the Huskers. The matchup marked the Reapers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Chloe Rowe put forth a good effort for the losing side as she posted ten points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. Plano is 3-1 when Rowe posts three or more steals, but 1-3 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Le'Niya Viser, who scored ten points and three steals.

Meanwhile, Marengo had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 27 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They claimed a resounding 62-31 victory over the Blue Streaks. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 21 points or more this season.

The win got Marengo back to even at 4-4. As for Plano, their loss ended an 11-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 4-4.

Plano skirted past Marengo 42-40 when the teams last played back in January. Do the Reapers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Indians turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
