Tj Varnado Game Report: @ Poplarville

On Friday, Tj Varnado posted his first game with 100+ receiving yards. He picked up 107 receiving yards and one touchdown, but sadly South Pike still had to take a 62-24 loss at the hands of Poplarville. We rated that as his best effort of the season, easily topping his previous best, set on September 19th, when he picked up 28 receiving yards and one TD (Gamescore: 17.1166666666667 vs. 8.88333333333333).

Looking ahead, Varnado and South Pike will take on Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will be headed into this one with a sizable disadvantage in the rankings (they're ranked 122 places lower in Mississippi), but they're not letting that get them down.
