Lakeland had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.4 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Tuesday. They never let the Climax Springs Cougars get on the board and left with a 13-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Lakeland's win bumped their record up to 11-4. As for Climax Springs, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
