Soccer Game Preview: South Kitsap vs. Battle Ground

The South Kitsap Wolves will challenge the Battle Ground Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

South Kitsap barely beat Yelm the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. South Kitsap's defense stepped up to hand Yelm a 5-0 shutout on Thursday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for South Kitsap's offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Meanwhile, Battle Ground won against Kelso on Friday with three goals and they decided to stick to that goal total again on Saturday. Battle Ground came out on top against Rogers by a score of 3-1. That's two games straight that Battle Ground have won by exactly two goals.

The win got Battle Ground back to even at 3-3-1. As for South Kitsap, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.
