Clinton Central extends road losing streak to three

Recap: Clinton Central Bulldogs vs. Alexandria-Monroe Tigers

The Clinton Central Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 60-52 to Alexandria-Monroe.

Clinton Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Nate Wells, who scored nine points along with six steals. Wells continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Cole Davison, who scored 13 points.

Clinton Central's defeat was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-10. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Clinton Central will look to defend their home court on Friday against Rossville at 7:30 p.m. As for Alexandria-Monroe, they will head out on the road to square off against Oak Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Oak Hill focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Friday.
