Ridge Point waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Sadie Dasher looked comfortable as she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over four innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Braelyn Daniels, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She also put up a triple, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kate Pierson, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Ridge Point always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .621. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Bend Austin only posted an OBP of .250.

Ridge Point pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Fort Bend Austin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ridge Point will take on Atascocita in a tournament on Thursday.
