Baseball Game Preview: Tri-Village Patriots vs. Yellow Springs Bulldogs

The Tri-Village Patriots will challenge the Yellow Springs Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

As a matter of fact, Tri-Village put up the most runs they have all season on Friday. They came out on top against Seneca by a score of 14-10.

Meanwhile, Yellow Springs made easy work of Trotwood-Madison on Monday and carried off a 16-6 victory. The win continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won three in a row.

Tri-Village's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Yellow Springs, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Tri-Village took their victory against Yellow Springs in their previous matchup back in April of 2017 by a conclusive 15-3 score. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
