Volleyball Recap: Centennial's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

Centennial was the 3-1 winner over Americas when they last played one another back in August of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Hawks lost 3-0 to the Trail Blazers on Saturday. The loss put an end to the Hawks' undefeated start to the season.

Americas found their leader in sophomore Sydney Avila, who had 17 digs and one assist.

Having lost for the first time this season, Centennial fell to 3-1. As for Americas, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Centennial will take on Roswell in a tournament on Friday. As for Americas, they will challenge Eastwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
