Maya Matthews turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than three walks surrendered on Friday. She didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best she's had all season long. Those seven strikeouts gave her a new career-high.
