Soccer Recap: Colonial Has No Trouble Against East River

On Friday, the Colonial Grenadiers got the win against the East River Falcons by a conclusive 4-1. The result was nothing new for the Grenadiers, who have now won six matches by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit East River with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Samuel Pereira (2), Enmanuel Lamper, and Santiago Mancilla.

Colonial's win bumped their record up to 7-3-3. As for East River, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8-1 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Colonial and Orlando Science will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 8th. Orlando Science will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Colonial surely won't give up without a fight. As for East River, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Boone at 7:30 p.m. on January 10th.
