Oscar Rios' Big Game Leads Downey over Dominguez
 Starting off the list is Downey's  Oscar Rios, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Rios threw for 177 yards and three touchdowns while completing 73.3% of his passes, and also rushed for 31 yards.
 Rios must have Dominguez's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too.  Johnson must have La Mirada's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When  Johnson last faced the Matadores  back in October of 2023, he rushed for 179 yards and two touchdowns.

Downey Gets a Boost from Blanco in  35-7  Win
 The second Downey player making an appearance here is  Bernardo Blanco, and for good reason. He rushed for 88 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He has been hot recently, having  posted two or more  rushing touchdowns the last three times he's  played.
 On the season,  Blanco  has run in 14 touchdowns while averaging 94.5 rushing yards per game.
