Lawrence Academy extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Carter Hoggard. The Warriors breezed past the Northeast Academy Eagles to the tune of 52-16 on Friday thanks in part to Hoggard, who went 10-for-22 en route to 22 points and eight rebounds. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 17 points.

Another player making a difference was Cade Oliver, who posted a point in addition to six boards, five assists, and four steals. He has been hot recently, having posted four or more steals the last three times he's played.

Lawrence Academy's record now sits at 5-1. As for Northeast Academy, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Lawrence Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-34 defeat against Perquimans County on the 15th. Northeast Academy has also already played their next matchup (against Bethel Assembly Christian Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
