Griswold has gone a perfect 3-0 against Law recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wolverines are taking a road trip to challenge the Lawmen at 5:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Griswold is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Waterford just ended the team's three-match winning streak on Friday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lancers.

Griswold actually scored more points across those four sets (86-83), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-16, 7-25, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Law lost 3-0 to Hamden on Thursday.

Law was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-23, 25-18.

Law's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Griswold, their loss dropped their record down to 9-6.

Everything went Griswold's way against Law in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Griswold made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
