Softball Recap: Covina Takes a Loss

Covina entered their game against Northview on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Colts came up short against the Vikings, falling 13-7. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since March 9, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Covina now has a losing record of 8-9-1. As for Northview, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6-1 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Covina will face off against West Covina at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northview, they will challenge Charter Oak at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
