Volleyball Preview: Riverside Rebels vs. Southeast Cyclones
The Riverside Rebels will be staying on the road on Thursday to face off against the Southeast Cyclones.
Last Saturday, Riverside didn't have quite enough to beat Encampment and fell 3-2.
Riverside took Encampment into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking four-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-21, 21-25, 22-25, 15-11.
Meanwhile, Southeast waltzed into their matchup on Saturday with 17 straight wins... but they left with 18. They had just enough and edged the Bobcats out 3-2.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Southeast who won the one that mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 22-25, 26-24, 19-25, 15-9.
Riverside's loss dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Southeast, their victory bumped their record up to 25-4.
