Clinton had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 goals) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Onsted Wildcats. Considering Clinton have won nine matches by more than two goals this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Clinton's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 38 goals over those five games. As for Onsted, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.

Clinton will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
