The Carrington Cardinals will head out to take on the Harvey Hornets at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

On Thursday, Carrington made easy work of Larimore and carried off a 12-2 win. The Cardinals haven't had any issues with the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Calleigh Hewitt made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched. Hewitt was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Maara Kutz was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Aubrey Neis, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
