Basketball Recap: Thales Academy Apex Comes Up Short on the Road Against Chatham Homeschool

Thales Academy Apex kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a blow against the Chatham HomeSchool Thunder, falling 66-9. The Titans were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 32-2.

Rebekah Woodard went supernova For Chatham HomeSchool., dropping a double-double with 23 points and 22 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Breleigh Coletta, who went 6-for-8 en route to 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.

Chatham HomeSchool now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Thales Academy Apex will take on Burlington Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chatham HomeSchool, they will square off against South Charlotte at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
