Preview: Gallatin Raptors vs. Skyview Falcons
Gallatin has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge The Skyview Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Skyview took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Gallatin, who comes in off a win.
Gallatin's and Billings West's match on Friday was close at halftime, but Gallatin turned on the heat in the second half with 20 points. Gallatin was the clear victor by a 27-6 margin over Billings West. The result was nothing new for Gallatin, who have now won five matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.
Gallatin can attribute much of their success to Quinn Clark, who picked up 75 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Skyview fell victim to Great Falls' stalwart defense on Friday and couldn't make it onto the board. They were outmatched by the Bison on the road and fell 40-0. Skyview has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Gallatin has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in seven of their first eight contests, giving them a 7-1 record. Skyview has not been sharp this season, as they've lost six of their first eight matches, which leaves them at a 2-6 record this season.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday' matchup: Gallatin commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 5.7 touchdowns per game. It's a different story for Skyview, though, as they've been averaging only 1.4 per game. Will Gallatin continue their march to the end zone, or will Skyview flip the ?
