Newport Harbor entered their tilt with Marina on Wednesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Vikings. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-4 on Tuesday.

Keaton Anderson looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Newport Harbor's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Guy, who went 3-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another was Adam Martin, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Newport Harbor's win bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Marina, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-18 record this season.
