Baseball Game Preview: Valley Lutheran Chargers vs. Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers

The Valley Lutheran Chargers will take on the Nouvel Catholic Central Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games Valley Lutheran has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Valley Lutheran and Hemlock have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Friday. The Chargers fell just short of the Huskies by a score of 8-7.

Axel Schuette was cooking despite his team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Tyler Belt-Captain also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

However, it's not like Nouvel Catholic Central struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.5 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
