Volleyball Recap: Seton Takes a Loss

Seton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Chelsea Academy Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Conquistadors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Seton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-6, 25-13, 25-15.

Chelsea Academy found their leader in sophomore Malta Klassen, who had six aces and three digs. Klassen has been hot recently, having also posted 19 or more assists the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Charlotte Barvick, who had nine digs and two aces.

Seton's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Chelsea Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.

As of now, neither Seton nor the Knights have any future games scheduled.
