Football Recap: Anderson-Shiro Piles Up the Points Against Luling

Anderson-Shiro owes their defense a big pat on the back after their performance on Friday. They claimed a resounding 29-0 victory over the Luling Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Fighting Owls, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The win got Anderson-Shiro back to even at 1-1. As for Luling, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Anderson-Shiro wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 14-13 victory against Tarkington on the 12th. As for Luling, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Travis at 7:30 p.m. on the 19th.
