Basketball Recap: Dawson Springs Takes a Loss

Dawson Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Trigg County Wildcats, falling 69-30. The Panthers lost against the Wildcats in their previous head to head back in February of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 63-49 score last time.

Dawson Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Trigg County, their win bumped their record up to 5-15.

Looking ahead, Dawson Springs will venture away from home to challenge Todd County Central at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Todd County Central has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Trigg County, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 65-31 loss against Livingston Central on the 14th.
