 West Union won the last time they faced Houlka, and things went their way  on Thursday too. The West Union Eagles were the clear victor by  a  20-1 margin over the Houlka Wildcats. The  win made it back-to-back  victories for West Union.
  Sadie Cobb and  Addison Collum made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing,  Cobb   struck out seven batters over  three innings while giving up just one earned run off   two  hits. Meanwhile,  Collum   tossed  an inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits (she also didn't allow any  walks). Cobb has been consistent recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. At the plate,  Cobb  went 2-for-4 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base, while  Collum  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  Mollie Reaves was a standout: she fired off two  home runs, three  runs,  and four  RBI while going 2-for-4.  Kaylee Crawley was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs.
 West Union's victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Houlka, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost seven of their last eight contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record  this season.
 West Union will be playing at home against Ingomar at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Houlka, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Shannon at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday.
