On the hitting side, Abram Hargett was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Alex Lerch, who scored two runs and stole three bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Legion Collegiate Academy also got a great performance from Coalson Williams as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over six innings pitched. Williams also allowed six hits, marking his first of the season.
At the plate, Justin Iannetto and Andres Lopez did most of the damage at the plate: Iannetto went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one double, and one RBI, while Lopez scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Iannetto has become a key player for Legion Collegiate Academy: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 5-6 otherwise. Matthew Pond was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.
Metrolina Christian Academy pushed their record up to 18-1 with the victory, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Legion Collegiate Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6.
