South Metro HomeSchool was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 36-25 hit to the loss column at the hands of the First Baptist Crusaders. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Crusaders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lydia Wynja continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for First Baptist, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Wynja has scored at least a third of First Baptist's points. Maddie Nelson was another key player, putting up four points and eight rebounds.

South Metro HomeSchool's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 0-3. As for First Baptist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.
