Tupelo kept a clean sheet against Pontotoc on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 7-0 margin over the Pontotoc Warriors. The result was nothing new for the Golden Wave, who have now won nine matches by four goals or more so far this season.

Tupelo's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-3-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Pontotoc, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 14 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season.

Tupelo will venture away from home to square off against Saltillo at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saltillo will roll in looking for their 19th straight victory, something Tupelo surely won't give up without a fight. Pontotoc does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
