Volleyball Recap: Roycemore Comes Up Short

Roycemore lost against Wolcott College Prep back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Griffins might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 2-0 to the Wolves, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Griffins have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Roycemore was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23.

Roycemore's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Wolcott College Prep, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Roycemore will square off against Cruz at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wolcott College Prep, they will host Intrinsic Charter School Downtown Campus at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
