Basketball Recap: Sauk Centre Triumphs

On Tuesday, the Sauk Centre Mainstreeters didn't have too much breathing room in their game against the Annandale Cardinals, but they still walked away with a 67-63 victory. That's two games straight that the Mainstreeters have won by exactly four points.

The win made it two in a row for Sauk Centre and bumps their season record up to 7-4. As for Annandale, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sauk Centre has already played their next match (against Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Annandale will venture away from home to square off against Dassel-Cokato at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Dassel-Cokato's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
