Basketball Recap: Cambridge-South Dorchester Gets the Win

It's playoff time, and Cambridge-South Dorchester had no trouble coming through when it counted. They escaped with a win on Tuesday against the Pocomoke Warriors by the margin of a single free throw, 67-66. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won seven in a row.

Despite the loss, Pocomoke had strong showings from JAYDEN MASON, who shot 83% from the field en route to 20 points along with six boards and three steals, and LAMARQUIS DOUGLAS, who dropped a double-double with 15 points and ten rebounds. The contest was MASON's third in a row with at least 20 points. Another player making a difference was MICHAEL AMES, who posted nine points and six boards.

Cambridge-South Dorchester's victory bumped their record up to 30-2. As for Pocomoke, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
