Softball Recap: West Perry Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for West Perry's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Susquenita Blackhawks on Friday. The Mustangs just can't catch a break and have now endured six defeats in a row.

West Perry's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Susquenita, the victory (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. West Perry will venture away from home to square off against Shippensburg at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Susquenita, they will challenge Greenwood at 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.38 runs per game on average), something the Blackhawks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
