Baseball Recap: Fairfield Has No Trouble Against Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington

Fairfield entered their tilt with Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Blue Jays 13-3. That looming 13-3 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Lions yet this season.

Ben Miller was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He struck out 13 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off two hits. He has become a key player for Fairfield: the team is undefeated when he allows at most two earned runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Miller was also big at the plate, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Fairfield let Zane Matthews and Cameron Miller run wild.
