Baseball Recap: Atkins Takes a Loss

Atkins lost against Northeast Guilford last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Camels fell just short of the Rams by a score of 15-14. The Camels' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Atkins' defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Northeast Guilford, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-9 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Atkins will challenge rival Eastern Guilford at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Northeast Guilford is set to square off against their familiar foe Dudley at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
