Softball Recap: Borden Extends Road Winning Streak to Five

Borden won the last time they faced Providence and things went their way on Monday too. The Braves blew past the Pioneers 9-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Braves have posted against the Pioneers since April 7, 2016.

Borden pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Providence, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Coming up, Borden will challenge Austin at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Providence, they will take on Trinity Lutheran at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
