Basketball Recap: Live Oak Takes a Loss

Live Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 59-38 to the St. Michael Warriors. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 63-44 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Live Oak now has a losing record at 5-6. As for St. Michael, they moved to 9-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Live Oak will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on West Feliciana at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. St. Michael will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Walker at 7:30 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
