Basketball Game Preview: Manchester Panthers vs. Tuslaw Mustangs

The Manchester Panthers and the Tuslaw Mustangs will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Manchester will be strutting in after a victory while Tuslaw will be coming in after a defeat.

On Friday, Manchester was able to grind out a solid win over West Holmes, taking the game 54-43. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 343rd, while the Knights are ranked 722nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Tuslaw ended up a good deal behind Triway on Friday and lost 51-36. The Mustangs haven't had much luck with the Titans recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.

Tuslaw's loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Manchester, their victory bumped their record up to 12-7.

Manchester barely slipped by Tuslaw in their previous matchup back in January, winning 52-51. Will Manchester repeat their success, or does Tuslaw have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
