Central won the last time they faced Crawford County and things went their way on Saturday too. The Central Hawks snuck past the Crawford County Eagles with a 42-38 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hawks.

Despite the loss, Crawford County saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kamarli McGuire went 8-for-12 on her way to 23 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points McGuire has scored all season. Maliyah Stallion was another key player, putting up eight points and 12 boards.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Crawford County, their defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-19.

Central wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-32 loss against Schley County on the 10th. Crawford County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
