Sumter County extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Ishmael Jones. The Panthers blew past the Columbus Blue Devils 63-34 on Friday for which the team can thank Jones, who dropped a double-double with 11 points and ten assists. He also grabbed seven steals, which is notable because Sumter County is 3-1 when he posts at least five steals, but 5-9 otherwise.

Sumter County's victory bumped their record up to 8-10. As for Columbus, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Sumter County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 67-57 win against Shaw on the 24th. As for Columbus, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 85-49 defeat against Carver on the 24th.
